My BMW 328i has plug & ignition coil probs. can anyone give me a cost quote on fixing the prob.?

Ive tried to get a rough estimate from two independant garages they simply wont or cant give me a quote on how much it would cost to change the plugs and ignition coil(s). all i get is it will cost 拢30 to put on the diagnostic machine to determine which cylinder(s) misfiresMy BMW 328i has plug %26amp; ignition coil probs. can anyone give me a cost quote on fixing the prob.?
K, the problem is your car has around SIX plugs and SIX coils. The car does not just have one! To replace ALL of them would be extremly costly, over 拢1,000!! Plus, how sure are you that this is the problem? It may be an electrical fault or crank shaft failure. You need to allow your mechanic (preferably main BMW or a BMW independant specialist) to carry out the test - Then he/she can give you an estimate. Take car to the garage.

State clearly that you wish to have the plugs leads and coils changed and ask what it will cost. if they are unsure of the labour element then ask them to look under the bonnet to assess it. Tell them you do not want a diagnostic test and just want those items don and if it still misfires it is your own responsibility.

Or get it diagnosed as it is very likely to be something else causing the problem - like the crankshaft sensor or the air mass sensor for example. My BMW 328i has plug %26amp; ignition coil probs. can anyone give me a cost quote on fixing the prob.?
You need to get the diagnosis done. it will be very costly to just go in and have them all changed. Usually it is only 1 coil or a plug that is bad. Your car has 6 coils and 6 plugs. My BMW 328i has plug %26amp; ignition coil probs. can anyone give me a cost quote on fixing the prob.?
IT will cost you around $215
