How do you change the ignition coils on a renault megane scenic?

The garages are asking for 拢35 per coil fitted. Have found them for 拢50 for all 4 and wondered if i could fit them myself and save 拢's. I have some knowledge of cars but need a guide in the right direction. Is this an easy job or better left to the garages? Any web sites i could go to with step by step would also helpHow do you change the ignition coils on a renault megane scenic?
It's fairly easy the coils simply plug in and are bolted down so if you disconnect one spark plug wire at a time and make a diagram , also mark the wires and the coils no1 etc and list them in diagram ,then you can unplug and unbolt old coils , re-bolt the new ones and reconnect the wires.

I've changed several different types of coils and really haven't found them hard to replace , it just takes patience , time and a bit of know how.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way you might want to shop around a bit more bec even a good auto wrecking yard might have a pretty new set of coils on hand or that you can remove for cheap. If you do pick up a set of used coils it's not a bad idea to take set of spark plug wires off a vehicle like yours too.if you can get a service manual that would be a handy asset .

By the way hello from Canada AAAAAAAAAAAA lol
